New Agricultural Machines for Mijnavan

Mijnavan is a small town in the South of Kashatagh region, Artsakh. The resettlement process started in 1995 with just 15 inhabitants, but now 123 families (483 citizens) live in the town. The main occupation of the locals is agriculture and land cultivation. 

With the goal of assisting the local farmers, Tufenkian Foundation purchased and transported agricultural machines (excavator and loader) to Mijnavan. The machines will be used for cleaning, cultivating and sowing the lands adjacent to the town and all the way to the Arax River. The community has about 480 ha of  non-irrigated and about 327 ha of irrigated land.

Mijnavan is a developing and blossoming town. Today, more than 80 students attend the local school.
